| Blackboard Faculty Tip: Student Discussion Board postings not showing up? Be sure that students are clicking the Submit button rather than the Save button in your discussion forums. By clicking the Save button, they are simply saving a draft of their messages that only they can view. |
| Blackboard Faculty Tip: When saving Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other documents, make sure that you and your students are not including special symbols such as #, %, $, etc. in your filenames. You will be unable to open these documents from within Blackboard. Use only letters and numbers when titling documents. |
| Blackboard Faculty Tip: If you or your students are creating Microsoft Office documents, presentations, and spreadsheets in Microsoft Office 2007, you may be unable to open these Office 2007 files if you are using a previous version of Office (such as 2003). To open Office 2007 files in an earlier version of Office, install the free Office 2007 compatibility pack. |
