1. Log into your Blackboard and proceed to your course site

2. Click the Control Panel link

3. Click the Link Checker link under the Course Tools heading

4. A list of all the web links in your course will appear. This may take several seconds to compile

5. Next to each URL (or web page link), Blackboard will provide additional information, such as the location of the link, the availability of the link, and whether or not the link is still a valid, live link. Invalid links will be marked with an X; valid links are marked with a

6. You cannot remove a link within Link Checker, but you may make it invisible (unavailable). Check the Hide box next to the link you wish to make unavailable

7. Click the Submit button
